As an empath (and a Gemini with a Libra rising) I also draw inspiration from subject matters that bring others joy. Through commissions, I seek to turn meaningful experiences, relationships, and memories to art. Nothing fulfills me more than turning others' subject matters into an everlasting painting, enshrining their lives and perspectives into something beautiful and special and valuable and unique.

Colloquial Cuties

Playing with common idioms found across American regional lexicon. Juxtaposing the literal phrases with their literal interpretations, circumventing the hidden meanings of the subject matter that often create bonds across Americans, especially when casually using these colloquialisms in conversation with those who are unfamiliar, and comparing usage across regions.
AKA: silly phrases with silly pictures - to bring a lighthearted and familiar sense of community, join in on the inside joke.

Inspired by the effortlessly cool vibe of my boyfriend's barbershop, housing local artists' works haphazardly around the studio space in the city of Hoboken.
This collection seeks to emulate the eclectic nature of art you would find in your local Hoboken barbershop, leaning in on masculine subject matters, and not trying too hard to be too serious.
